Continuum Coralline Purple CX 250ml

Continuum Coralline Purple CX is a reef‑safe additive designed to encourage and accelerate the growth of purple and pink coralline algae in marine aquariums. It’s formulated using high-grade marine aragonite with supporting minerals, and — importantly — it is free from phosphates and nitrates, so it won’t fuel unwanted green algae.

When added to a reef tank (typically 5 ml per 100 L, 3–4 times per week at night in a high‑flow area), Coralline Purple CX helps raise calcium levels and promote coralline crust formation on rock, glass, and invertebrate skeletons. For best results, maintain stable calcium (≈ 410–450 ppm), alkalinity (≈ 7–11 dKH), and magnesium (≈ 1250–1350 ppm) levels, while keeping phosphate and nitrate as low as possible.

Over time, you can expect enhanced coralline growth — colourful purple/pink crusts across rockwork, a more “mature” reef aesthetic, and a stable substrate that helps prevent nuisance algae from taking hold.
