The Deltec Skimmer 400 is a compact, high‑efficiency protein skimmer designed for aquariums or sumps from roughly 100 L up to 400 L. Thanks to its efficient cylindrical body and advanced water‑flow footplate design, it maximises air‑and‑water contact to thoroughly remove dissolved organic waste before it breaks down — helping keep water clean, clear and healthy. A built‑in emergency‑overflow system with a water‑level indicator automatically shuts off air intake if the sump water rises, preventing skimmer cup flooding even if a return pump fails. The included 24 V DC “DCC” pump is variable and energy‑efficient (just 5–12 W), and the skimmer is engineered for whisper‑quiet operation. Maintenance is easier than many skimmers: the pump can be removed tool‑free in under 20 seconds, making cleaning or service quick and painless.
