Neptune Systems I/O Breakout Box

The I/O Breakout Box from Neptune Systems is a compact expansion module that plugs into an available I/O port on any of their controllers (e.g. Neptune Apex or a PM-series module) — it gives you up to six external switch inputs.

You can connect float switches, leak detectors, push-buttons, magnetic door sensors, flow sensors or other open/closed signal devices. Once connected, the breakout box allows your Apex system to monitor the state of these switches and trigger custom programmed responses — for example: auto top-off (ATO), leak alarms, feed or cleaning modes, sump alerts, cabinet door alarms, or custom automated maintenance routines. 

Because the unit doesn’t power the accessories directly, it simply acts as a smart expansion interface — it provides the digital input capability to significantly extend the automation and safety features of your aquarium controller.
