Neptune Systems Trident Water Analyzer Alk/Cal/Mg

The Neptune Trident is an automated water‑testing system designed for reef and marine aquariums that regularly measures core water chemistry parameters — alkalinity (KH), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg) — without the need for manual test kits. It performs automatic titration and colorimetric analysis, drawing only a small ~8 ml water sample per test and yielding results with high precision: ±0.05 dKH for alkalinity and ±15 ppm for calcium and magnesium.

Setup is plug‑and‑play: after installing the sample and waste tubing, hooking it up to a compatible controller (e.g. an A‑series controller) and installing the reagents, the Trident can begin producing logged readings that feed straight into your monitoring system.

When paired with a dosing pump or dosing system, the Trident data can be used to automatically adjust dosing of supplements (e.g. calcium, alkalinity, magnesium) — helping maintain stable water chemistry and reduce the chance of spikes or dips that stress corals.
