Nyos® Nitrate Minus – Biological Nitrate Reduction for Reef Aquariums

Nyos® Nitrate Minus promotes the growth of nitrate-reducing bacteria, allowing nitrate to be biologically lowered to near-zero levels. It also supports the slight reduction of phosphate through the export of bacterial films via skimming. Its dual-action formula provides both short- and long-term nutrient control and contains no toxic methanol, making it safe for continuous or temporary use.

Recommended Nitrate Range: 5–15 mg/L (ppm)

Dosing:
• Standard: 10 ml per 1,000 L daily
• If nitrate drops below target: reduce to 5 ml per 1,000 L daily or pause dosing
• If nitrate is very high or decreasing too slowly: increase to 20 ml per 1,000 L daily
• Best used with a dosing pump
• Monitor nitrate weekly and adjust as needed
