CarboPlus – The Nitrate & Phosphate Remover

CarboPlus is a natural, biologically safe carbon source designed to enhance microbial activity and improve biological filtration in reef aquariums. By providing the carbon required for bacteria and other microorganisms to assimilate Nitrogen (NO₃) and Phosphorus (PO₄), CarboPlus helps reduce excess nutrients and maintain cleaner, healthier water.

As modern filtration systems often create low-nutrient, carbon-depleted environments, CarboPlus restores balance by promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria and plankton that consume Nitrate and Phosphate. These microorganisms are then naturally exported through filtration or serve as a food source for corals, sponges, clams, and other reef organisms.

Start dosing at 1 mL per 100 L daily, gradually increasing up to 3 mL per 100 L as needed. Regularly monitor NO₃ and PO₄ with reliable test kits and adjust dosing to maintain ideal levels (approximately 5 ppm NO₃ and 0.04 ppm PO₄). If one nutrient approaches zero while the other remains detectable, supplement with NitroPlus or PhosPlus to maintain the correct balance and support optimal biological filtration.
